Very Nice, As Always
If I see another Final Fantasy X-2...
And nice use of Saint-Saëns "Fossils" at the end there. It's the little details that make it happen :)
You've always had an art for flash and story telling, but this is on a whole new plain. The tenderness combined with a little terror, artistic quality, the recurring eerie children's music, all wonderful and perfectly woven into another masterpiece. I'm so glad you've been working again! Please continue to be such a great leader in the flash animation realm. Best wishes, Zeurel!
Because it touches on the fact that both men AND women often look at just outward appearance. You have to be willing to see beyond.
As for the jab at the female gender, I like to think that I'm not exactly an ugly person, but I always look at personality first. Most of the extremely attractive men I know are morons. Besides, once you get to know someone, they may become more attractive to you. Nice animation, as always!
After she blacked out at the end, I was held captive until I knew what happened to her. Excellent weaving of a wonderful, delightfully morbid little story. The art was great, the music fit perfectly. Wonderful job, I look forward to more! :)
Dear Raptor Jesus,
Excellent flash. After a short hiatus, fantastic and triumphant return! Hilarious :D
Love the new musicals!
Everything you've done in the past has been wonderful, but you've started a new musical phase that involves fantastic electronica and art.
This video was fantastic, from the immensely catchy music to the beautiful artwork and effects. As with the rest of your work, great job! Keep it up.
Loved the Mothra/Godzilla collaboration at the end :)
to an excellent series. This newest installment continues to bestow good things :)
The plot line is developing wonderfully and has a lot of potential still waiting to be unleashed. Keep up the great work, everyone! :)
Best First I've Ever Seen
I can, without a doubt, say that this is the absolute BEST first flash from anyone that I've ever seen. I preferred watching it on YouTube simply because my laggy computer couldn't keep up with your awesome animation, so thanks for providing the link.
The characters were wonderfully original, despite their long history. You gave them new faces, new attitude and new purpose. The music also fit very well, since I really think sound effects would have distracted. The animation was consistent, smooth and very dynamic. You have fantastic drawing skills as well as animation skills.
I'm so glad you've learned so much from this first attempt, because I very much look forward to seeing more from you. You have a gift, Ferguson, and you make Newgrounds live up to its name :)
Great work and can't wait to see more!
A Message More People Need
I just had a discussion with my roommate about networking with people over games and social sites, and she wasn't with me. She found it strange and superficial. The problem is, I know better.
I know that such things can easily become superficial when we become too absorbed in the personae we create for ourselves in such games. When we let the games, rather than the community dominate our sight, game are just a worthless money-sapping device that dulls our minds and addicts us. But if we know how to utilize those games to bring people together AND know when to step away and enjoy life as we really live it, we'll be much better off.
If you can't hold on a decent conversation face to face with someone who you talk to all the time over Facebook, now is the time to get off of Facebook and talk more face to face.
Thank you so much for your insight, your reflection and your solid conviction, Brian. Great animation and great message!
I am curious, what music you used throughout the whole flash, but specifically while burning the WOW gear?
5/5, 10/10. Fantastic work.
Cirque Du Soliel "Ka" - I forget the exact track
The Na'vi - Avatar Soundtrack
Another Win for RAW
Another fantastic animation, Bobert. Hilarious, well animated and long enough to keep us occupied for a while.
After reading through the comments, I agree with your notes on the dream sequence - your animation quality and imaginative style has improved so much since your really early flashes. LOVED this dream sequence, especially the faces, eyes, Rob pushing through the crowd. I could watch another 1 or 5 of those.
Great job again, friend. I look forward to whatever you come out with next.
Oh, and belt whips do hurt pretty bad :P
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed this one! I know I could probably do more dream sequences, but I'd probably just animate those by themselves. I don't think I could realistically squeeze them into normal episodes without it being too terribly out of place, heh. Thanks for watching it! :D
